Below are links to the embassies of the seven countries that Korea considers "English speaking." Note that these are the seven nations whose nationals can be issued a visa for the purposes of teaching conversational English.

None of the embassies below offers much service of use to its nationals. You can have your passport renewed, but don't expect the embassy to be of help if you have problems with your employer or if you want to borrow money. Most of the countries below have published some sort of guide to teaching English in Korea. None are particularly accurate or up-to-date and the U.S. guide (or warning) is quite alarmist.

All of the embassies will encourage you to register so that you can be 'evacuated' in an emergency. In reality, I can't imagine that any of the governments below (with the possible exception of the U.S., and that's just because they've got all those military bases in Korea) would have any hope of evacuating its nationals in a real crisis.
